Upcoming Show at IAEOU, Hubbard Street Lofts

I am currently showing my work at IAEOU, located in the Hubbard street Lofts in West Town. My three pieces will be up through December 10th. The HUGE ART SHOW and Open House will also be happening while my work is on display. There will be lots to see! The event lasts until 10 pm, and I am told there will also be live performance and stand-up comedy!

I have exhibited two of the pieces in the past: "Pessimist" and "Blank Slate", which were shown at "Off The Grid: Abstract Art", at Oak Park Art League last August. The third is part of my currently on-going series, "Multiple Choice". Three other pieces from the "Multiple Choice" series will be on display in November at Arterie Fine Arts in Naperville.

I keep an up-to-date list of my current and up-coming shows on my website: tanzenlilly.wix.com/paint-life . There you can also fine the addresses and exact dates and times for each show. I am also very active on my Artist Facebook Page, Tanzen Lilly Jewelry and Fine Art . Please visit and like my page if you have a facebook! It is an easy way to stay in touch with my activities!

Fellow Artists And Peers That I Admire!

As a young artist and recent college grad, I am constantly looking out for new opportunities to expose my work and get involved with the art scene. Though it is important to look out for yourself and make your mark, it is also important to expose yourself to the work of other artists, whether they be old masters, successful contemporary artists, or peers in your field that inspire you. These are all factors that contribute to your work, whether you intend it to or not. What defines you as an artist is not only your mission and your aesthetic, but the times in which you developed your craft, and all of art history before you.
On my website you will find a list of the fellow artists, friends, and peers whose work I support and admire. It is a list that continues to grow as I enter the art scene and work with other artists in gallery shows and exhibits. Below is a list of just a few of the many wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet and work with. I hope you enjoy their work as much as I do!

I have pieces for sale through Arterie Fine Arts in Naperville (as advertised on their website), and I am showcasing many of them on my pinterest page and facebook.
I am very interested in selling my work and even taking commissions if you have a specific look in mind. Please contact me at tanzenlilly@yahoo.com with pricing inquiries and image requests!
